Description

Grave marker, designed and written by Eugene Barnett for his own grave at Vineland Cemetery, Clarkston, WA. His life span was Feb. 21, 1891 to Sept. 1, 1973. Poem: There's a long-eared hound a-bawling in the land of my dreams, where coyotes are a howling and the cougar screams; there the world never seems dreary and the sky seems always blue, as o'er the hills you wander with a long-eared hound or two.
