Arthur S. Cory, 1903 was one of the incorporators of Security State Bank. In 1922 he founded Lewis Co. S/L and served as Director (1922-1967) and President (1922-1962) for fourty years during which time he served as State Representative, and past district governor of Kiwanis International. In 1961 he receives an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, Dakota Wesleyan U.
