Salmon Creek School 1904. (Under the hill from Hatchet Mt. over Beaver Creek from Hinkley's, walked foot log. Mullens children walked from Joe Eccles place to school.) Top row standing or sitting on log L-R: Harry Due, Etta Withrow, Esther Due, Rant Mullens, Lillie Mullens and Nola Houpt. Elmer Due is sitting on log in front of Harry Due. Standing in front of log L-R: Clint Houpt, Einar Due, Joe McKinney, Mike Mullens, George Ross, and Vego Due. Sitting on the ground: Mary Due and teacher Mrs. Cecil Milhone or Milhoun. In Dec. 1982 only Rant Mullen and Clint Houpt were still living. Donated by Roberta Spencer
