Ray P. Melhart, Chehalis resident, Manager of National Fruit Canning Co., born 1910, retired in 1975. Served as Mayor from 1972-1975 and Chairman of Chehalis Industrial Commission. A Methodist, Mason, Lewis Co. Shriners Club and Rotary, he also served as board member from Dec 19, 1969 to Jan 19, 1978 at Evergreen S/L. He passed away on Feb 15, 1999 in Vancouver where he'd been the past year. b&w, glass covered photo, linen matting in wood frame. 05.04 stored upstairs.
