Color photo of 4 Chehalis Indian Ladies, L-R: Nancy Secena, Josephine Thomas, Blanche Dawson (standing) and Maggie Benn (Mrs. John Benn) seated with hat on. Maggie Benn was then President of the Indian Shaker Ladies Sewing Club which raised funds for the church by making quilts and baskets and baked goods to sell. The hat was made by Nancy Secena. Picture was taken in the kitchen of the Shaker Church with some of the baskets the ladies had made in the foreground. Hats were adaptations of Nootka and were made by Nancy Secena. Circa 1960's
