Description

Overview of S. Gold and E. Summa in Centralia, WA at the Graystone Cement Products Plant,which was Lewis Co. Materials Co. until 1956/57. In the top 1/4 is the Shell, later , Cummings Oil Co. office and oil storage tanks. On Summa is Standard Oil of CA. bulk plant and Gen. Petroleum bulk plant. Across the top are houses on S. Gold which were moved out when the viaduct was built in early 1970's The Limit Tavern, 928 S. Gold was razed and relocated at 1400 S. Gold in about 1959/60. Graystone plant closed its business ca. 1990. Hardel Lbr. Co. now, 1995, owns and operates their business on this corner.
