The Trading Post at the corner of Chehalis and Park, Chehalis,WA. where Bitars is now(1981). From 1940-44 (sold to Pacific Wholesale Hardware, Aberdeen). The upstairs had apartments about 48 rooms 1 and 2 bedrooms .Some had a hall bathroom on each floor. Standing is Dan Harper, right is the Fire Dept. and left is the John West Building & upstairs was the Eagles Hall) Taken 1936. At one time it was the Chehalis Opera House. P8609 is the 1982 view of the same location. Have negative.Collection
