Description

Class photo, first school house on Newaukum Hill near the present grange hall, taken about 1898. The previous school was on lot 6 block 10 of Newaukum, WA approximately where the Fred Shorey house is at the present,1981. The tallest person is Mr. A.T. McDonald the school teacher, and the young fellow under the derby hat is Tom Duston, the little fellow in the center of the front row is Frank O. Miller and the 4th from the right is Mabel Shorey. Have negative.
