Morton's first hospital building, built in 1937. (This was the first hospital built with the idea of it being a hospital) It stood where the present building is today, 1982. It was built as an 8-bed facility by Dr. Cyril Ritchie after the towns people wouldn't build one themselves. The home to the right was built for the superintendent so she could prepare meals for the patients. Have negative.Collection
