Description

Square Deal Garage at W. Main and Harrison Ave., Centralia, WA, operated as early as 1922 by W. F. Judkins at 1203 Bridge St., now Harrison Ave. until 1939 or 1940. Other operators ran it until about 1947-48 when Rick Gillingham opened the first Yardbirds in this building for a few months, later moving to the Miracle Mile. Then another 20 years this building was operated as a service station until it became a coin-operated car wash and a computerized gas station in 1968. Photo 1927-28
