Near the rapids and rock gorge of the Chehalis River in the Pe Ell area, ca. 1890-91. Both sides of the river once owned by Marion Harlan. In 1990 Weyerhaeuser owns the west side of the river and Hemphill Lumber Co. the east side. From Marion Harlan Collection, donated by Michael Citrak of Olympia, WA.
