Chehalis Methodist Church taken about 1907 by Tom Clippinger. Good photo of the building. In 1884 the Methodist Conference reported that the Sunday school class of 30 was organized in Chehalis, WA. On April 18, 1886 their new church was dedicated at the corner of Main and Chehalis Ave. They had raised $1000 at the morning meeting and nearly $400 at the evening service to help pay off the church. This church served the congregation until the new building was complete in 1923 at Main and Market at an outlay of some $60,000. Have negative.Collection
