Description

Coal Creek Power Plant built early in 1911 to supply power for Centralia-Chehalis Streetcar line. Burned coal first, then oil. PUD, now in 1997, owns the land. Coal mines were on the hillside, and tipple crossed road where coal was loaded. Photo 1913. Picture in oversized drawer.
