Statue called "The Sentinel" - 'It was their destiny rather it was their duty the highest of us is but a sentry at his post.' Located in George Washington Park, Centrallia, WA. in honor of the American Legion men killed in the Armistice Day Massacre. Statue of Bronze soldier holding a gun at parade rest, mounted on a marble base 5-6 feet high. The Carnegie Public Library is in the background. Have negative.
