Description

The 2nd Presbyterian Church on the corner of Rock and Pine in Centralia, WA being built in 1930. The man closest to the pastor with his hand on the cornerstone is Charles Edward Bates, born November 22, 1877 in Postville, Iowa. He died Feb. 15, 1965 in Lebanon, Oregon. He was a Brickmason when he and his wife Evaltta lived in Centralia, WA. Pastor was J. C. Mergler. Cornerstone had "1889-1930" on it. Donated by Patsy Mae Poore Magill (Mrs Robert C.Magill) Tacoma WA in 1992
