Photo showing the second First Methodist Church in Centralia build in 1903 on the NW corner of Pine and N Pearl Ave. After the April 1949 earthquake this building was condemned and them torn down. Land for the 3rd and present church at 506 S. Washington Ave. (1985) was purchased in 1949. Early in 1951 the cornerstone was laid and the first service was held on Sept. 1, 1951 Have negative.
