Excellent photo of the Joseph Borst home built about 1856. 2 1/2 story "L" shaped frame house, shake roof, 2 brick chimneys. A roof covered the porch. Double sash windows were used in all the rooms. The lumber was hauled from Tumwater, WA, the ends were dipped in white lead and held together by wooden pegs. Lawn area and garden in front of house. Have negative.Collection
