In the name and by the Authority of the United Spanish War Veterans National Encampment
To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Whereas R. K. Chaplin has been duly appointed National Aide de Camp United Spanish War Veterans
Therefore Know Ye, that under authority of the Constitution and laws of said Organization in such case made and provided, I do by these presents hereby commission him to be National Aide de Camp A.S.W.D. as aforesaid, to rank as such from the 26th day of October Anno Domini, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen. He is therefore to carefully and diligently discharge the duty of the said office by doing and performing all manner of things thereunto belonging. This commission to continue in force from the date hereof unless the same shall be ortherwise lawfully determined and annulled.
