Note
The item is mentioned by Bailey in a commencement speech, "A Commencement Address," given to the South Haven graduating class on June 13, 1930. The manuscript is quoted in a book of South Haven history written by Jeanette Stieve. It is part of the South Haven Memorial Library Collection. The speech was also published in the South Haven Tribune.
