Barking Spud

Description

Wrought iron barking spud head shaped like a spoon. It would have been mounted on a wooden handle (now missing). The shank and blade are iron but the blade has a steel edge. The spatula blade (now with white deposits) was apparently used to stir liquid plaster or a similar substance.
