Description

Chinese export tea service consisting of a cylindrical tea pot with lid, cylindrical sugar bowl with lid, a cream pitcher, a circular cake plate, a circular bowl (slop bowl), and two handle-less tea cups and saucers. Pattern consists of a rest red floral leaf and vegetation pattern on a cream white glaze. Tea pot has a double loop handle and a long spout. Its lid is capped with a berry knob. It also has ornamental banding patterns across base and top. The sugar bowl and its lid are decorated in a parallel manner to the tea pot. This set was given to the CHH as a composite made up from various sources.
