Wooden armchair with rush seat. Transitional with a Queen Anne splat, crest rail with upturned ends and arms that end in downward scrolls. Front legs turned and with ball feet. Front stretcher is boldly turned in William & Mary style. Side and rear stretchers are also turned. Rear legs & stiles are gently curved but are square shaped although the backs of the stiles are slightly chamfered. The splat is shaped with bird beak motif.
