Windsor bow-back side chair originally painted black. Bowed crest rail over 7 tapered spindles. The front face of the bow has two deeply incised parallel lines. All seven spindles penetrate through the bow back. Boldly turned legs. H-shaped pattern of three boldly swelled stretchers. Single curving line incised on seat before the stiles and spindles. The doweling of the legs penetrates through the top of the seat. The legs are boldly turned and are tapered at the bottom end.
