Wooden flax spinning wheel with turned wood elements. Mortise and tenon joints. Retains its original triangular shaped pedal. Wheel has 14 spokes. The three legs are turned as are several other wooden parts. The wheel is supported by a wrought iron axle which holds it in place and allows it to rotate. It also supports the wooden arm that responds to the foot pedal.Made/Created
