Description

Brown striped cotton bodice. Gold frayed string stipes around sleeve and waist. Sewn on shawl like portion over shoulders, ending in a "V" shape in the front and back. Ends of "V" button together in front. Fourteen button holes along front, seven extant fabric covered buttons. Metal clasps as well underneath the buttons on the inside. One small pocket on front. Lining on back and stomach is a thick canvas like lining. Soft brown cotton lining on the sleeves. Partly hand stitched and partly machine stitched.
