Beautiful white on white “Trapunto or Stuffed Work” summer quilt or wedding quilt. Basket of flowers in a circular cartouche in center, framed in a diamond square. Cornucopia design in the corners and a meander feather design forms the border. Medallion style with central basket of flowers. Beautiful and skillful hand quilting. There is about 20 stitches per inch, very finely quilted. The top is a fine cotton fabric and the back is a coarse linen fabric. Linen fabric probably locally woven.Made/Created
