Wedding Shoes first worn January 14, 1896 for Elizabeth Bausman's wedding in the Lititz Moravian Church. Her granddaugher Sarah Muth wore them again for her wedding to Marshall Hemphill on April 26, 1958. Unfortunately the fire in 1957 rendered the Moravian Church unsuitable for Sarah's wedding and she was married by a Moravian minister in a Presbyterian church.Collection
