Description

A troop of soldiers march down a road ahead of a horse-drawn hearse followed by more troops. The soldiers process in front of the stone buildings of Base Hospital #8, Savenay, France. The hearse carries Jane Delano, a chief in the American Red Cross Department of Nursing, who passed away April 15, 1919, while in France.
