Terrae Mariae Medicus - published in 1959. Joint yearbook of the UM medical school and nursing school. Nursing school section is after medical school, from pages 142-211. Begins with section on Whitehurst Hall dedication with photos, followed by headshots of faculty and staff. After this is a section for the class of 1960 and includes small head shots of each student and their name. Next section is a series of page photo and text sections on various nursing specialties. This is followed by a section of photos and captions documenting various clubs and traditions. After that is a brief history of the flossie cap and an image of the class of 1908 which graduated 50 years before the current class. Finally is a section with each of the graduates of 1960, that includes a section with larger headshots and brief paragraphs describing each individual.
Physical Description: Yearbook is white with a textured feel to the cover. Cover is rigid. Title and year is along spine and front in gold colored lettering. Gold colored image of a single snake coiled around a rod (the rod of asclepius).Collection

the rod of asclepius is an ancient greek symbol for healing. In the US the rod of asclepius is sometimes confused with the caduceus (two snakes around a rod).
