Description

The Pledge - published in 1975,168 pages, yearbook for School of Nursing. Opening section is a series of photos of campus and candid shots, followed by headshots of the faculty and staff, some of which are ordered by group. After this for clubs, activites, events followed by a section for the RN to BSN program 1975 class which includes RN specific faculty and a group shot. Following this is a section for the class of 1976 which includes headshots, followed by photos of the various junior clinical specialties. After this is a section with headshots of the class of 1975, followed by candid photos and other photos of the various senior clinical specialties, followed by the class directory. Physical Description: Yearbook is smooth and rigid with a green cover. Year and title in white over white outline of nurse in profile next to building with an image of two snakes coiled around a winged staff (caduceus) on it.

Book structurally sound. Binding starting to fail slightly and yellowed binding glue evident on several pages in the middle.

Notes: Caduceus is a symbol that American medical organizations mistakenly associate with healing. The symbol is confused with the Rod of Asclepius which is a symbol of healing and is a single snake coiled around a staff, as opposed to the two of the caduceus.
