Photograph of a brick Romanesque -style building, part of the Stuartholme Convent and School requisitioned by the U.S. Army in 1942 to serve as barracks and wards for the 42nd General Hospital. In August, 1943, all U.S. Army nurses were accommodated in the convent buildings.
