P79-894 18-ton Navy Gunboat Parked in Area of Stewart and Wilson Avenues. Note on back of photo: Residents in the area of Stewart and Wilson Avenues must have thought they were living in a shipping lane Saturday when this 18-ton Navy gunboat on its way to the Brooklyn Naval Yard "run aground." A heavy duty tow truck had to be called in from Franklin Park to free the boat, which was being hauled on a 40,000 pound "low boy" trailer. Lombardian January 21, 1976.
