Myra Wiley Zirkle, born September 12, 1943, in Lorain, Ohio, shared her life story with Margaret Molnar on August 28, 2024. Myra's grandfather built their home on 19th Street, Lorain, where her father worked as a B&O railroad brickman. Her mother, from Lester, Ohio, worked at BF Goodrich after her father's death. Myra excelled academically, particularly in English and Spanish, and worked at the Lorain Telephone Company and American Greetings before joining Hallmark for 25 years. She has nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Myra also discussed her brother's 1985 disappearance and her lifelong love for reading and writing.
