Photo looking out on the U.S.S. Nimitz from a military plane as it prepares to land. The U.S.S. Nimitz was anchored in waters close to Lebanon in the early 1980s. Arvin Morell served in the U.S. Marine Corps between 1980 and 1984 and participated in military peace-keeping operations in Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War.
