Photo of the Hot Stove League baseball team. The team won the state championship for Class E in 1963. Many of the Hot Stove League players had previously been on Sacred Heart Chapel's baseball team. The Winham Rockets beat the Sacred Heart team during a previous championship game. Head coach Mike Losh left the Sacred Heart team to form the Hot Stove League and drafted many of the Sacred Heart players. The Hot Stove League then played the Winham Rockets at the 1963 championship game and won.
The Hot Stove League played at all of the parks in Lorain, Ohio. Ray Pagán is either 14 or 15 years old in this photo. Back of photo includes the most of the players' names and positions.
