Scope and Content

Photocopy is color view of North Broadway, showing the hospital ship in the harbor after the 1924 Tornado. Photocopy reads: "NORTH BROADWAY, SHOWING HOSPITAL SHIP IN HARBOR". Written on back of photocopy: "Picture Made From Picture Post Card Owned By Fred G. Beese; 'TORNADO' June 28, 1924 Lorain, Ohio; Hospital Ship in Lorain on following day June 29, 1924; SHIP -- 'City of Erie' Owned By C. & B. NAVIGATION CO. (also known as See & Bee Lines)". NOTE: There is also a newspaper clipping detailing the the events after the tornado and information about the hospital ship.
