Poster, "Helena: Yo Vine A Cantar" (translation: I Came to Sing).

Context

Helena Santiago was born on June 18, 1977 in Lorain, Ohio. She began singing for live aduiences at age of 11 as part of a duet with her sister, Sele Santiago. Helena has been heard singing the American National Anthem for the Cleveland Cavs and Cleveland Indians (Guardians). On February 10, 1995 Helena opened up for and sang a duet with recording artist and salsa sensation Marc Anthony at the Statler Hotel in Cleveland. On April 22, 1995 Helena and her band "Special Note Us" openedu pfor the interntionally famous "El Gran Combo." The name of her debut CD is "Yo Vine a Cantar," Combo Records. The debut of Helena's CD was held at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. This was the first time that Latin Music was showcased there.
