Meharry Medical College is a HBCU (historically black college and university) located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Myers died at the age of 65 in 1973 in Lorain. "He was the former president of the Lorain County General Practictioners Association. He was a former chairman of the Mayor's Human Relations Committee and was invited to President Lyndon B. Johnson's White House conference on Civil Rights in 1966.
