Context

Joseph Beres (born circa 1854 in Austria-Hungary. Joe married Veronica Nagy (first wife). Married Esther Juhasz or Yuhasz (second wife). List of children, work. Came to US in 1890. Settled in Lorain and became a translator for the Middle European community and as a bar owner, going into partnership with Steven Kranyak. Malvine Beres (child) died and was buried in "St. Vincent Cemetery, resting place for foreign Catholics, on Rte. 254 between Lorain and Elyria." Cemetery razed in the 1950s story. Mentions Anna Beres, Malvine and Charmaine, Camille and Catherine, "the Hungarian Countess" story.
