On Back: "ERIE AVENUE BASCULE SPAN BRIDGE. The largest Bascule Span Bridge in the World, costing $1,368,400, was completed and opened to traffic, October 15, 1940, and through which pass the largest freighters on the Great Lakes." 2 copies. Dear friend, Got your letter and regarding cherries. Since I spoke to hyour father for cherries, Mrs. Pancost has made arrangements for other fruit and all the cherries we will put up will be the large sweet kind. Thanks very kindly. Note attached to postcard: The Masonic Temple is on the corner of Fourth Street and Washington Avenue. It is one of our newest and best buildings. It is used by the Masonic Lodge as their lodge home.
