Context

Founded in 1984 by Gloria Noland and Alexis Lynk. Jack and Jill of America is a national organization that works towards the development of black children through educational, social, and service programs. Ms. Noland and Ms. Lynk saw a need to connect Black families in Lorain and Lorain County. The local chapter disbanded in the mid 2000s.
