Oral history interview with Kathy Burke Balogh. Kathy Burke Balogh, born November 7, 1943, shared her family history and life experiences. Her grandparents immigrated from Italy in 1909, settling in Lorain, Ohio. Her father's family originated from England and Ireland. Kathy worked at US Steel for 30 years, starting as a typist and rising to head of accounts payable. She met her husband, Andy, at a union meeting in 1979. They had two children, Mark and Laura. Kathy also served on the US Steel board. She emphasized the importance of faith, family, and health in her life. Kathy's legacy includes designing two homes and contributing to her community.
