Scope and Content

Postcard is black and white view First Congregational Church, corner of West Fourth Street and Washington Avenue, whose steeple fell on Lorain Fire Station No. 1, 605 West Fourth Street during 1924 Tornado. Postcard shows damage, destruction and debris from both buildings. Postcard reads: "CHURCH FALLEN UPON A HOUSE IN TORNADO AT LORAIN, OHIO". Written on Front of Postcard: "#1 Fire Station".
