Context

Michael J. Scherach of Lorain has worked in private practice and public service since 1971. He has served as an assistant Lorain County prosecutor, director of law and assistant to the mayor of the City of Lorain. He also served as an agent for the Ohio Bar Title Insurance Company from 1977 to 2015. In his community, Scherach has served for many years as part of the Lorain Polish Fisherman’s Organization, a youth-oriented local civic and conservation group.
