This is the commencement booklet for the graduating class of 1960 from Erma Lee's Beauty School and Barber College in Cleveland. From the 1930s to the 1960s, Erma Lee's was one of the only cosmetology schools in the area that taught Black haircare and hairstyling techniques so most Black barbers and beauticians in Lorain studied there. This booklet was donated by the daughter of Mary Kay Stewart (nee Hisle) who was one of the graduates.
