Photo Book In Memory of Domingo Carrion written/compiled by his son Roberto Carrion.
Domingo was a Puerto Rican citizen of Lorain for 72 years until he passed away in January 2020. Domingo Carrion was part of the major labor recruitment effort conducted by the National Tube Co. in the late 1940s. He, along with many other Puerto Ricans migrated to Lorain in order to fill the job vacancies avaialble at National Tube. My father's journey to Lorain mirrors the journey of many other Puerto Ricans who were part of the same recruitment program. That said, their stories and my father's story are much alike with respect to what brought them to Lorain.
