Black & White Postcard - Black River IOOF Lodge #680 from 746 Broadway
**I.O.O.F Black River was founded in 1879 and may have met in the building at 746 Broadway before their own building was constructed. The IOOF Lodge was located at 200 West 9th and became the Felsol Co. building in 1937. IOOF 680 consolidated with the Knights of Pythias lodge at another location. It was the first building in Lorain that was specifically constructed for a fraternal organization. The architect was John H. Prescott and the contractors were Glick & Burgett. The building on this postcard is not on Broadway. 05/22/25 JN
