The D.M. Clemson built by The American Ship Building Co. was a steel Great Lakes bulk freighter launched October 28, 1916 and completed in 1917 at Lorain, Ohio (Hull No. 716). It served the Pittsburgh Steamship Co. for decades before being scrapped in 1980.Acquisition
