From narrative written in 1982: "Organized some ten years ago under its present name, the Song Stylists is a women's' choral ensemble directed by Maureen Decker Koepke. The members of the group are of all ages and are experienced vocal and/or instrumental soloists, as well as seasoned members of both religious and secular choral groups... The Song Stylists have sung throughout the northeastern area of Ohio with their base in Lorain."
From letter written in 1968: "Perhaps you have heard about Sorosis Singers. We are a group of women who formed a singing group because we like to sing. The name Sorosis Singers is derived from the fact that originally we were all members of Lorain Sorosis Club, but this is not a requirement."Acquisition
