Description

A commemorative medallion designed and struck by Pinches of London at the end of the Second World War. The obverse commemorates the Blitz of 1940 - '41 with a German bomber in searchlight beams over St Pauls' Cathedral. The reverse shows a V1 flying bomb above the Tower of London. 57mm, struck brass, weighs 67.03 grams
